Teradyne – “Decent engineering company with mediocre management”

Pros

A lot of very knowledgeable people, one can learn a great deal while working here
Very flexible working hours, some possibilities for telecommuting. You can work from
home a lot of times.
Good middle level management (mostly)
Decent benefits.
Good atmosphere. people are mostly very friendly and willing to share info/help.

Cons

Compensation is just average. Pretty good benefits but pay is just OK compare to other companies.
Doesn't seem like upper management really knows what to do a lot of times.
Engineering is great but business/marketing units leave a lot to be desired.
A lot of turmoil recently
