Pros

They value their people and their work.
Like to promote from within and will take people back two and three times.

Cons

Pay raises have been small in the last couple of years.
Too many engineers sitting around trying to reinvent the wheel.
Sometimes managers like to operate like it's a fiefdom.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Let's focus less on 'lean' and more on just producing the product.

I worked at Terex full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Great Products, lots of opportunity, some very smart people work here. There may be some doubt as to the long term future of the smaller product lines.

    Cons

Poor benefits. Very much a 'small' company amongst the bigger boys of Cat and Komatsu. Terex struggles with the all round employee development programs that others offer.
