I have been working at Terumo Cardiovascular Systems full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

everyone is nice, it's in ann arbor, can't really complain you know. Nice building. Nice gravel parking lots.

    Cons

this company is locked up in a 6 year long consent decree, that means you don't actually do the engineering you trained for, you just do CAPAs.

Undefined leadership and lack of accoutablitily creates game playing at the employee's cost.

I worked at Terumo Cardiovascular Systems full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Very cool technologies. Life saving devices.

    Cons

The leadership is scattered. The company is working under Consent Decree. Unreasonable deadlines result in rushing work, overwork, and unsuitable results. Consensus cannot be established regarding how to make the hard decisions necessary in order to achieve a sound business foundation. No one wants to be the bearer of bad news - so everyone passes the blame. Flogging a dead horse (often through the weekend) is commonplace.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Leadership, leadership, leadership. Accountability, accountability, accountability.
