    Name recognition is worth taking the job.

    Everyone was very nice at first. Then, they began to talk politics and EVERYONE is a conservative.

    Pros

    Working for the Extension is great because you get to help fellow Texans with applicable science.

    Cons

    Some of the cons is the states administrative structure that is fairly rigid to new ideas.
