Pros

- there is lot opportunities to work on different projects and improve your skills - you may experience

Cons

- the salary is extremely small and you can barely survive - there is no any vacation time for the graduate students and if you are going to visit your family abroad for 3 weeks they will cut you off the payroll

    Small Department, get to know professors on a personal basis, get to do rotations before picking a lab

    Cons

    Original research proposal at the end of first year as graduate student is a scary experience.

    People are smart and friendly. There are lots of educational resources, which will be good for you future career development.

    Cons

    The atmosphere is really relaxing. I have to say it is hard to find a negative part of my experience.
