It's true, THR is one of the best places to work in DFW!

I have been working at Texas Health Resources full-time (more than a year)

Pros

Plethora of Internal Opportunities ; Compensation ; Benefits; Community Involvement; Senior Leadership

Cons

Political nature can impede advancement; not enough telecommute options; CEO is visible, approachable, and involved in daily operations.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

There is still a culture of "us vs. them" with former Presby and Harris employees. Although the entities have merged, it seems that Leadership is primarily aligned with the former Harris operations. It can be difficult for "outsiders" to advance.

I have been working at Texas Health Resources full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

The culture at Texas Health Resources is one of utmost caring, not only for the patients and communities the facilities serve, but also to their employees. A healthy work/life balance is easy to maintain at THR due to the resources available to all employees. I have found the pay to be very competitive.

    Cons

There really is not a down side that I have found. I would work for Texas Health Resources for the foreseeable future if I were not about to relocate.

    Pros

supportive, encouraging, good communication, opportunity for advancement, family oriented, faith based, cutting edge, ahead of the curve

    Cons

I enjoy what I do and cannot think of any real downsides. The only one would be my pay - I love my job but need to make more money.
