Focus on diversity a little too much

    I worked at Texas Instruments

    Pros

Very technical environment, opportunities to learn new things, company is on the cutting edge in technology and in benefitts. Good work life balance and more than enough vacation days as well.

    Cons

Highly technical environment creates extreme competitieveness. Also they put so much focus on diversity (which is good) but it's so much that it can marginalize and puts down non-minority employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Good to play up diversity but it should not be the top priority - productivity and ability should be more important.
