I have been working at Texas Instruments full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good healthcare and benefits. Great portfolio. All the resources you could want.

    Cons

Slow to market due to fear of failure and size of company. Always playing catch-up. Little innovation.

    Advice to Management

Management is mostly sales or marketing. So, be sure to retain and listen to your top technical talent. Ease off the gas on the 'growth or bust' and 'personal responsibility' attitudes. Stop with the P&L centers...it only causes friction and internal competition with is counter productive. Try creating a culture of innovation, learning, and teamwork.
