I have been working at Texas Instruments full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Access to great training, both technical and leadership. Great Engineering EDA support.

    Cons

    bureacracy, politics, priorities inhibiting progress

    Advice to Management

Priorities are getting better but it is still a toss-up for short term revenue vs long term growth. Cost control is inhibiting creativity and innovation.

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Texas Instruments full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Stable and ethical and now with a large presence in the Bay Area. They have formalized processes and you typically know where you stand within the organization.

    Cons

Sometimes slow to move as they often operate like a large company. Most employees are in Texas which can limit career opportunities for those not wiling to move back there. A heavy focus on analog.
