I worked at Texas Instruments full-time (more than 10 years)

Pros

Great Team of technical people
Competitive Pay
Ethical Company

Cons

Management driven by dollars and cents - not by a vision of technology and products. I truly great company should balance both aspects.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Decide how you want to change the world and find a technology vision on how to get there.

Need to be more flexible in adapting to market needs faster. Running away from competition does not help in building a reputation as an innovator that can take on the marketplace.
