Current Employee - Engineering Technician  in  Stafford, TX
Current Employee - Engineering Technician in Stafford, TX

I have been working at Texas Instruments full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

The opportunity for career growth at TI and the benefit of continuing education tuition assistance is a plus. Also, being able to work only "1/2" a year because of "shift" work allows individuals to spend more time at home or go to school and get paid as a "full" time employee. With shift work you get 'paid" time and a half after 8hrs.

    Cons

Working at a fab out of Dallas can limit your opportunity for growth due to limit of job openings.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to improve communication across departments. Give your "skilled" workers a feeling of being part of the team versus just being a "number" on a sheet of paper.
