I worked at Texas Instruments full-time (more than 8 years)

Pros

Great place to work with work/life balance. I worked there for 8 1/2 years and loved what I did. I learned a lot and gained additional education paid for by TI. Take advantage of all the various resources available to employees.

Cons

Very political and competitive environment. Opportunities to move up were slim and unlikely. It is all abut who you know and not your skill.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get rid of businesses that don't continue to show increased growth year over year.
