I have been working at Texas Instruments full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Big company. Good health insurance. Do not need to dress up. A good place for a young engineer to start a career.

Cons

Big company. Lack of innovative. Need at least a few corporate managers who are real engineers. Need to treat engineers better.

I have been working at Texas Instruments full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Can move around if position doesn't suite you.

    Cons

Contractors, contractors, contractors. Over the past 6 years - more and more contractors fill departments. If you've been there over 20 years, you have a target on your back.

I have been working at Texas Instruments full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Lots of horizontal mobility, top end labs and equipment, very knowledgeable team

    Cons

Slow moving company, sales oriented, not research intensive. The cubicles on south campus are a depressing environment to work in unless you are by a window.

    Advice to Management

Update the campus, the dark cubicles are not innovation inspiring.
