I have been working at Texas Instruments as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

TI has a great internship program that really provides you with marketable skills in the semiconductor business. I was given a lot of responsibility by designing something new that will go into future parts and improving the process of design verification. There are a lot of opportunities to improve your technical skills and see how things are done in the real world. The benefits are good, and the company provides a small amount for relocation expenses. There is also a lot of diversity and a lot of emphasis placed on innovation.

    Cons

Job security. The company has made a goal to make analog and embedded a large part of their business, so job security is an issue if you aren't working in one of those two areas.

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
    Approves of CEO
