I worked at Texas Parks & Wildlife Department full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Fantastic place to work. The management is down-to-earth. The job is so full of experiences and possibilities to learn. I traveled the state from end to end. I met wonderful wardens, biologists, and specialists in every field you can imagine. There is no way to go wrong here. Not one "Con."

    Cons

.... except the State pays very little, and everyone wants to work there. But don't give up. There is always room for an excellent worker.
