Pros

Gained skills that I may not have gotten otherwise.

Cons

Separation of employees within and between business units, lack of opportunities for career development/growth, observe mediocre or poor performance being rewarded while commitment and decidation is ignored or overlooked.

Advice to Senior Management

Pay attention to what is happening at all levels of the organization.
