Textron – “Process driven and slow”

Pros

Textron has very capable individuals who are trying hard to do a good job for the customer. Certain locations have excellent facilities.

Cons

Textron is a very process oriented and slow moving company. It lacks market knowledge and is lagging behind its competitors. Management needs to focus the company and determine where to focus its resources.

Advice to Senior Management

Determine if the company is in aerospace, industrial, and/or defense and concentrate to become premier in one area. There are excellent employees who want this company to succeed.
