Textron – “Slimy execs with bad admin to boot!”

Pros

Benefits were really good.
Some people - very FEW- were great co-workers.

Cons

Not competitive salaries
Expected to work overtime without any recognition
Management always trying to be "premier" when it's really "pathetic"
Too much corporate double-talk
"Lean manufacturing" is a joke. Just learn how to do things BETTER without firing people and making them do ridiculous workshops/training that costs WAY more than the savings you'd get if you'd just let people do their work!

Advice to Senior Management

Award performance, not seniority.
Get rid of the people who are vested due to time spent on the job -they are usually the ones bringing others down.
Your executives are pulling personal favors all of the time -and nepotism is alive and kicking at Textron.
