Textron – “Campbell is an OSTRICH and an ASS”

Pros

Relocation benefits were great. Then it started to suck. Big time. They act like they have it together. In reality, they are really missing a big element of business: people. They will never be competitive with the poor leadership they have in place.

Cons

Everything. Six sigma is KILLING the organization. Senior management is ridiculous -no one is accountable. Their matrices and micromanagement techniques for all of the businesses is just in the stupid category. The whole company is run by morons. And, the company president's secretary -here and at other units are really witches in disguise. Most have been with the company so long that they "can't be fired" -or so we're told. It is a HUGE joke.

Advice to Senior Management

Listen to your unhappy employees. Get your head out of the sand. The brand of "Greatness" is CRAP-NESS. Get rid of dual reporting - focus on the business at hand rather than trying to be so terrific for a common good. It's CRAP. It's micromanaging. It's killing your people. WE HATE BEING AT TEXTRON.
