Pros

The work is easy, people are fun to work with. Very easy to learn on the job. The pay is very very good for what you do.

Cons

No real career progression. Training could be done in a day. If you require your work to be mentally stimulating you will not love this role. If you need the money then yes Vamos!

    Pros

Every single person is friendly, and great to work with. The balance between office work and field work is fantastic. Being in Innovation gives you a real sense of trying to come up with new ideas and thinking in a different way to how you would normally in a full time office job. Having the opportunity to visit sites gives you a great understanding of the range of work Thames Water does, and how there is an amazing range of people working for Thames Water.

    Cons

Sometimes the technology that Thames Water uses tends to lag behind what is currently available. Being able to use the most modern technology would improve the efficiency of most employees, however, implementing the new technology can be a difficult process. Also, as Innovation, we can sometimes be hindered by the issues we face with producing new ideas to the company. Sometimes we can come across brick walls with trying to get a new idea off the ground.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better communication between all stages of management. Having a good contact system between employees and their management to discuss ideas/issues.
