Pros

Very good working environment, supportive management, good compensation policies

Difficulties associated with transition to electronic media from traditional newspaper. Struggling, but showing signs of improvement.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Embrace more fully the digital age, even if it means turning one's back on the traditional strengths. They are gone and they're not coming back.

I worked at The Boston Globe full-time

    Pros

Company creates content and content is key, selling digital is considered a more valuable skill than print. Free parking and access to a cafeteria on-site

    Cons

Used to be one of the best publisher companies to work at in the digital space in Boston. Technology, politics, and poor management practices have created a non-customer centric workplace

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Worry less about internal turf and more about the success of your clients
