I worked at The CDM Group part-time for more than 5 years

Pros

Flexible, a lot of talented individuals to work with. Some really really great people.

Cons

Management at the top is a revolving doorr. Your reward for a job well done is more and more work. No respect for the work/life balance. If you had any criticisms, you were deemed negative.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Realize the people that are truly great at their professions and give them the credit they deserve, in the forms of recognition, compensation, etc. you try but it just doesn't quite feel true.

I worked at The CDM Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Prioritizes training and in-house promotion. Lots of opportunity for career development.

    Cons

It's advertising--short notice overtime, weekend work, can be very demanding deadline work. If the client needs it, you do it. But it pays overtime so there is opportunity for significant extra money.

Extremely efficient and well organized agency. Mangers distribute tasks fairly and aren't afraid to get involved.

I have been working at The CDM Group as a contractor for less than a year

    Pros

-Teams work together to really address client needs, rather than the politics that usually plague agencies. The processes they employ also keep all work moving making it clear where there are weak links for even better results moving forward.

    Cons

-Freelance direction on contract start dates and end dates are a bit hazy
    - Not a lot of room for negotiation for freelance wages
