I have been working at The Children's Place full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Benefits,Pto..job advancement, sick pay associate discount.

    Cons

no life, workload is overwhelming and extreme.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

get it together...you make comments about tenure associates not willing to adapt but its these tenure associates that make your company successful. STOP spending money on stupid marketing you never use. The reason your managers are jumping ship is because the workload is ridiculous.

I have been working at The Children's Place part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Even if you just work four hours every two weeks you will still receive the thirty percent off discount.

    Cons

Unless you are in upper management you are normally scheduled for only 4-12 hours a week but then have another 4-12 hours a week that you are to call-in to see if you are needed for the day which kills your personal life...if you want one. If you like structure, there is not the place for you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

In store-if you expect something from your associates you should be setting the example.
Regional/Corporate-be realistic with your expectations and do not show favorites. Each store in your region/district are yours...own it...good or bad.
