I have been working at The College of New Jersey full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

As with all union state positions: Excellent benefits, sound job security, stable work environment.

    Cons

Lack of communication within departments. Tight budgets make completing assigned tasks successfully and efficiently near-impossible. Little opportunity for career growth or promotion.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stronger investments in capital improvements and qualified workers will pay off over time. Operational tactics are dated and inadequate. Look to other NJ state universities for contrast.
