I have been working at The Connor Group full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

The training we receive during the first month of being hired and the continuing training we get several times a year is just outstanding. It makes you feel good that they continue to invest time and money in your well being.

Cons

During the summer months is our busy season you are required to work more hours which takes away from spending time with your family.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to push as much training to your employees as possible even during the busy months.

    Pros

You don't have to come in till 12pm on black friday so that you can shop

    Cons

No family work/life balance, unrealistic goals, stressful, no commission just a bonus if you reach a certain number of rentals and a certain percentage of renewals, sometimes you don't get a lunch, not paid for overtime it is taken off your check so that you only have 80 hours each week, constantly posting to craigslist 3 times every hour, shopped on everything, can't take vacation in the summer and they won't let you take a whole week any other time, training sucks, no promotion from within

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get rid of first billing, start caring about your employees, set realistic goals and stop putting so much daily pressure on your sales team, we don't need the daily sales meetings they just discourage you and set the tone for a bad day, if you want to have a big friday sales meeting make it fun, stop hiring all these new people and promote from within because they don't really last and it makes your current employees look other places just to move up
