I have been working at The Dial Corporation

    Pros

It is a fantastic place to live. Vacation weather 9 months of the year. The small size of the company really helps you to know those you work with.

    Cons

Smaller company so some limited opportunities. Area had alot of turnover since people seem to lack roots there.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More innovation please. It is nice to see some of it starting so we have something to be proud of and sell!

I worked at The Dial Corporation

    Pros

First things first...Herb Baum was a fantastic leader and made it a great place to work. High integrity, good results and recognition for a job well done. Brad Casper followed Herb, and had to deal with the new stress of being a newly acquired subsidiary of a German multinational. All in all, Brad has done a great job holding things together.

It is a company that has demonstrated that it values diversity, people and integrity. That is much easier said than done these days, but I felt the leaders at Dial were a good group...for the most part. I was proud to have worked there.

    Cons

Sometimes the oversight from the German parent company can be smothering. The Germans were nice people, but sometimes prone to micro-managing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep true to your stated course, and don't give into mediocrity.
