Pros

Great training products and seminars.

Cons

The draw vs. commission made it very difficult to make money. All account executives were negative in their draw and if you ever had a good commissioned month it all goes towards your negative bank. Very hard sell getting people to pay $995 for one ticket for a 3 day seminar, on top of them paying round trip airfare and 3 nights hotel stay.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay a base plus commission.

    Pros

Generally interesting work at a relatively competitive pay.

    Cons

Company is not responsible with payments and cancels contracts at the last minute. I cannot recommend working for them for this reason. They had apparently had serious financial issues and getting paid for work completed was incredibly difficult.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you're going to hire contractors, please follow through with contract. As a freelancer, I set aside time for client jobs. Cancelling contracts at the last minute is not only frustrating but irresponsible.

    Pros

-Known in the retail industry as a good training company - good material.
-Small 10-15 Employees in the US - licensees in a few other countries, they do not work in the US
    -Good trainers
-Good learning environment on your own if you're curious and want a taste of the training consulting field.

    Cons

-The CEO/owner and the President are both ego driven, both feed each others ego
-Not enough training in-house but yet they are a training company
-Company has too many struggles financially through the years which makes for a tense working environment , company lives paycheck to paycheck (deal to deal)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

No company ever gets to the next level without a team. You will always struggle unless you invest in your people and create an environment of winning not fear. Respect your employees and they will do the same.
