Worst place I've ever worked at

    I worked at The Gap

    Pros

The customers were the best part of this job. Interacted with some very sweet and interesting individuals. Also, the employee discount was great. (50% off most items)

    Cons

I've never worked somewhere with such lack of respect toward an employee. The managers were all terrible, and reminded me of catty high schoolers. They would constantly gossip about other employees, talk down to everyone, and show zero consideration for employee problems/requests/anything. You basically couldn't interact with them without receiving a highly inappropriate, immature, unnecessary, and not to mention extremely unprofessional attitude from them. It's a shame people like that were hired for those positions. If they have a problem with you, they won't even bother coming to you personally and speaking to you about it. They will simply write you up or cut your hours completely. They push you to the point where you have to quit. I highly regret not reporting them to Human Resources. Worst job ever.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There simply needs to be new management and extreme improvement on the treatment of all employees.
