    Pros

50% discount here and banana republic
most of the managers are nice
    diverse staff
    everyone gets along

    Cons

customer service manager has NO people skills
    scheduling skills are poor
you get blamed when your schedule is done wrong...100% of the time
    long hours
closing by yourself in a section isn't uncommon, even in holiday season
you are ridiculed if you cannot work days before christmas or a long black friday shift
customer service manager will insult you publicly and privately for the smallest mistakes

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your employees with more respect, and learn how to enter time off/availabilty into the system better. I also feel that my entire experience with gap was tarnished by the customer service manager. I don't know how she got put in charge, but she literally strikes fear in all of the associates and is disrespectful to customers her other managers, and her staff. its appalling- i've never had a boss that was so ruthless before.
