The Gap has very committed employees -- especially at senior levels -- who can run a highly complex business. The business skills that I develop and use here are are far & way the most challenging and fulfilling in my career -- I feel set up for any business challenge from any organization because of the competencies I have gained from Gap Inc

Cons

There is a lot of turnover, especially at the entry level positions. This is a very hierarchical company in many business functions & many leaders who built their careers with the company(especially from the merchant function) don't have business skills that would work outside of the Gap -- this is a very internal focused company.

Focus on benchmarking with other business trends to remain relevant in corporate policies
