    Pros

    Great Training
    Gained Experience
    Employee Discount
    Quick response to application
    Dress Code

    Cons

Inconsistent hours. You could be scheduled for a 4 hour shift, but sent home after a 3 hours shift. There is on-call, but only sometimes are you asked to stay. One week you could have 15 hours the next week you could have 9 hours. It really depends on how the store is doing. Unfortunately hours are based on seniority and availability, but even then hours are scarce.

I have been working at The Gap part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Amazing team work and hectic free work environment make this job a little more easier than what I expected at the first time as a employee who has no such kind of experience in a retail industry. In my opinion, being a fashion forward, fasion savvy helped a lot to do this job which is helping the customer to find the right clothes for their physique.

    Cons

Even though the Gap is one of the largest retail company in America, the tendency of customer towards Gap is surprisingly less than other retail brands which is a little disappointing.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

GM is very nice person to work with I guess
