I worked at The Gap full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Gap Inc. can be a great place to learn and grow. While its brick-and-mortar reputation in the United States has been tarnished by the company's inability to find itself, it continues to grow online and internationally. Lots of smart, energetic people.

    Cons

As is the case with most places, it's about your manager/supervisor. My experience was positive till the end, when my supervisor was too focused on pleasing upper management and not speaking truth to power. This meant more work, more rework and more frustration on the part of our team. The company's constant reorgs were also challenging, but I'm not sure where you'll avoid that in corporate life.
