Current Employee - Merchandiser in Dallas, TX

I have been working at The Gap part-time for less than a year

    Pros

Great group of people that I work with and awesome store manager. As a part-time merchandiser I work early morning shifts that are four hours. Starting anymore from 5am to 7am on weekdays. Saturdays are usually 8am, but sometimes earlier. Rarely work Sundays unless a bunch of merchandise needs to be marked down beginning that day. It's nice working before the store even opens.

    Cons

Not a lot of store hours to give, but the Gap that I work out is a smaller store. Probably couldn't go full time if I wanted to, or support myself if I did get moved to full time status.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Let merchandisers have more freedom in styling the store and mannequins rather than sending us pictures of exactly how the mannequins and store are supposed to look.
