Pros

The Hartford is a very large company with potential for growth. As an external hire I was given a nice boost in pay from my last job which was significantly more stressful and demanding. Benefits are fine, they also offer some working at home arrangements. All in all the best job I have had since graduating from college.

Cons

In terms of culture it is kind of a bureaucratic corporate nightmare. Alot of ideas require a pilot program or some other nonsense. I have never had some many meetings in my life.

Advice to Senior Management

Be more fiscally conservative.
