Current Employee – been working at The Hartford full-time for more than 10 years

Pros – Salary is competitive in some fields but you have to sacrifice your life and family to get it. A lot of opportunity to move to different positions once you get your foot in the door.

Cons – Sacrificing family life due to unreasonable expectations and demands. Real disconnect between home office and field. New CEO and board talk out of both sides of mouth.....say bad year so no 0-4%of salary for field bonus yet board gets 100%+ of salary as bonus????

Advice to Senior Management – Think about your employees first and the rest will follow. Make it a great place to work and employees will love doing what it takes to make your customers happy too.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
