I have been working at The Home Depot full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Decent pay, stable company, multiple locations

    Cons

Very cut throat! Once you are a salaried manager your life is over. They have a saying bleed orange and you better or else. One bad walk and your done. If you're not in the upper management click, you're done. Over worked, under staffed and under payed for the amount of work. To many people at upper levels trying to justify their jobs and pay will throw you under the bus at first opportuinty.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat your associates like you preach and pat your selves on the back for doing. FInd better upper management that is more diverse in the Retail industry. Just be understanding, fair and realistic.
