Pros

Benefits, plenty of chances to move-up, profit sharing twice a year, 2x bonus for department heads.

Cons

Work/life as a supervisor was hard at times.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do a better job choosing who to move into the asm position. Personality should be weighed heavier than test scores.

    I have been working at The Home Depot full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Flexible work scedule, extremely knowledgeable coworker s that one can learn alot from, great upward mobility, assistant and store managers have great communication with associates, possitive atmosphere and a dedication to safety, solving customers problems and making their day with excellrnt customer service

    Cons

    Computer training is very long and extensive when just starting, eratic employee sceduling( every week is different)

    Associates need to have time to complete their computer training
