Pros

Very good benefits and 401K match. They are the 34th largest companies in the US and not going anywhere.

Cons

Sales Manager is in direct control of your income. They do not pay for gas expenses or anything else for that matter. Long work days.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Integrate a routing software into sales program to keep sales reps from driving long distances. Make sure your sales managers have ethics and morals. Make sure leads are distributed fairly and there is no favoritism.Stop using gimmicks on customers to make sales (coupons, ICOs, etc.)

    Pros

*Exceptional Customer Service training - after being trained by Home Depot, you will literally walk into other stores and be insulted by the lack of customer service they provide by comparison.

    Cons

    *No promotion opportunities in stores
*Management will throw you under the bus in a heartbeat
*Management will delegate without helping with tasks

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management needs serious leadership training and how to communicate effectively with each other and other employees. Assistant Managers have serious problems in leadership skills and are often vanish when needed.
