    Pros

Cross-training, great co-workers, some great and high-profile guests. A lot of advancement opportunities if you can set aside the mistreatment that comes along with the hospitality industry.

    Cons

Some managers downright allow guests and other employees to harass and verbally abuse the front desk staff, and do not stand in their employees' corner.

Great hotel, but like most, needs improvement in processes and management.

    Pros

The hotel is not as corporate as most and has a family like feel. It is a high end hotel with a casual feel to it and it lacks the stuffiness that most 4 diamond hotels have.

    Cons

Management and internal promotions often are done for the wrong reasons.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

They need to create more of a dialogue with employees rather than keeping everything top secret. In a world where the "people" matter, it is silly that it is not communicated to all parties that need the information
