Decent place to work but denies any sort of life outside work.

    Pros

Great product to work with. Company generally supports employees' decisions provided they have good reasons. Company offers generous discount and decent insurance plans.

    Cons

Sales goals are set at unattainable goals (+30% to +60%) thus preventing bonuses from being paid out. Payroll has been cut so low that management works by themselves most of the time presenting ample opportunity for shoplifting and/or other crimes. Management's schedule is pretty much open to close 5 days a week. May not have more than one weekend off per month and may not have 2 days off in a row. Part time associates are scheduled for as little as 3 hours for a shift and not more than 5.5 in rare circumstances. Company claims to be flexible with family life; they may allow a life outside of work for those that work in the corporate office but only expect more and more from those that work the retail side.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Time off parameters must be reassessed for the store management level. This position puts in about 50 hours a week and deserves an extra perk; this is one perk that wouldn't cost the company anything either. In addition, why must the store manager work a minimum of 44 hours? What is the purpose?

    Pros

    Benefits-time off, insurance is decent
People I work with are wonderful

    Cons

    Retail-outrageous sales goals
Automated scheduling makes home life non-exsistent
    Bonuses impossible
Poor decision making on corporate level

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Ask the retail division what is best for their businesses! Honest feedback-not positive feedback so we don't hurt corporates feelings
