I have been working at The Jones Group full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

Benefits and co-workers are the only plus to this job. Jobs other then the ones in the corporate office are supposedly wonderful with wonderful management. This is not the case in my department.

Cons

No room for advancement, and when there is management does everything they can to keep you back and hire from the outside. They pile on the work and don't compensate us for our added job duties. Any salary increase above the standard is thrown in your face as they did you a favor.

    Pros

Smart people work here, lots of talent and lots of opportunity to learn and grow

    Cons

You'll work like a slave and most managers don't seem to care about you, regardless of what they say.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Career planning is essential - for your employees!!! Not just yourself - otherwise your best will leave, and you will fail, and it's not just about the money, but that needs to be there as well.
