Fun internship

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsI really liked my internship at the Morning Call, the atmosphere was friendly and I loved learning about all of the work they did. I worked with the editorial department. The ad department worked separately in another office space and I had little contact with them during my stay. Everyone in different departments however did seem to get along well and were friendly with each other.

ConsSometimes the work is pretty repetitive and the hours depending on what department you work in are a little strange. Sometimes a light news day could mean little work to do so it can be a bit boring however that rarely happens.

The best Job I ever had! Wish I stayed there.

Account Executive- Retail Sales (Former Employee) Allentown, PA

I worked at The Morning Call full-time for more than 3 years

Pros: Great products- that work well for advertisers- never felt like I was being pushy or overally agressive when calling on prospective clients because I knew… Cons: The industry- while I think The Morning Call has a great job… Advice to Senior Management: Get out in the field and meet with customers more-… Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend More

Great Camaraderie but unrealistic goals, undefined territories - make sure you ask a lot of questions before joining

I worked at The Morning Call full-time for more than a year

Pros: - Everyone is a joy to work with -You won't be glued to your desk… Cons: - Unrealistic goals--sometimes double of previous year - Some managers need to get a grasp of their reps territories and not assume that there a 1000… Advice to Senior Management: - Listen ,I mean really listen, to your reps - Before… – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company… More
