“Field Reps your time is running out”
Current Employee – been working at The Nielsen Company full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – Autonomy, pay for performance, and working in the field with good people.
Cons – The job is ending. The new meter tested in Dallas is a sign that less technical people will be needed in the future. Start looking for other jobs now. The VP who switched from Ops to MR side lets you know where the company is headed. This meter is a plug in the wall and report device. Not very technical and a minimally technical MR could install it. It was a great job while it lasted.
Advice to Senior Management – Just sell us already.
