I have been working at The Nielsen Company full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    - It is a great spot to start your career and learn about the CPG sector. Having the expertise in the data makes you an invaluable candidate outside of Nielsen.
    - Good, smart people who always are willing to help when asked.
    - No real office politics. People are promoted based on their results

    Cons

    - Salary. You can get paid way more to do essentially the same thing at a manufacturer or retailer.
    - Resources. Every team I've been on has been under-resourced.

    Approves of CEO

I worked at The Nielsen Company as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

In BASES, all the employees are young, active, fun, intelligent and friendly. The work connects you to major companies and is stimulating.

    Cons

I did not experience any major cons during my month long internship. One thing that may have been a slight negative was that I did not have work to do/ I knew how to do for extended periods of time until I got a major project a couple of weeks in.

    Recommends
    Positive Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
