I worked at The People Bank full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

downtown location, good access for/from public transportation, located in the Eatons Center so good shopping at lunch hour.

Cons

Communication channels are not strong, an unusually high number of closed door meeting and a non-responsive managment team, manage poeple, especially juniors through guilt and fear. Changed compensation plan for the worse.

I have been working at The People Bank

    Pros

This company has just completed business reorganization and put together a well-balanced extremely talented management team. The old school complainers are gone and the new team across the country is about to raise the bar in the Canadian Staffing industry when it comes to professionalism and service excellence. What a wonderful time to be a part of this very exciting chapter is this company’s history.

    Cons

This company is not for those who simply accept meritocracy and want to live in the past.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep your plan on track and this company will become the first 1 billion dollar Canadian staffing firm.
