I worked at The Resort at Pelican Hill part-time (More than a year)

Pros

You don't have to do your own laundry, you just show up and they have it ready and ironed for you; you can eat free food at the cafeteria if you're into that kind of food; it looks good on a resume.

Cons

I worked at the coliseum: Bad management, too military-like, if you work at that restauraunt you feel like NOTHING to the company, long sleeve button up/tie/slacks in the HOT summer sun working 7 days a week and overtime, the normal shift hours were NOT normal, they were 8 hour shifts and so on.....

Advice to Management

Treat employes at the coliseum with more respect and gratefulness because we worked harrrrd long hours out in the hot sun 7 days a week during summer

Fun! Fast paced! Good pay + tips. Managers and chefs really wanted to get to know you. The guest you serve expect perfect dinning. Everyone working at the Resort is really happy and wants to meet you. Free lunch! I loved the cafeteria.

    Cons

First week was hard but then got better. Horrible uniforms.

I worked at The Resort at Pelican Hill full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Offered 41k, 3 weeks paid vacation, It's a good place to work if you are apart of the click. If you are looking for a career then Irvine Co has great opportunities.

    Cons

Very unorganized, Staff moral is extremely low and no one wants to be there. It has a VERY high turnover and i can see why as there is no structure, micro managed.
