Great place to work compared to many other staffing firms!

Technical Recruiter (Current Employee)
Raleigh, NC

ProsThe Select Group is definitely one of the better staffing firms out there to work for. The culture is great (they have a number of people who left other staffing firms to go there because of the poor culture they experienced), and I do think that the people working there are passionate about what they do. If you like to be rewarded for hard work and like to continually push yourself, then it's a great company to work for. On the other hand, since it's a sales company they are definitely metrics-based, which not everyone likes. I will say that you always know where you stand due to everyone's numbers coming out every week. Personally, that pushes me to work harder.

ConsIt's a sales company and sales isn't for everyone- if you've been in sales before you know that it's pretty much on you to perform, and if you don't like a fast-paced environment where things are constantly changing then you won't enjoy it there.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

High turnover, high school clique atmosphere

    Technical Recruiter (Former Employee)
    Raleigh, NC

I worked at The Select Group full-time for less than a year

Pros: Small company with lots of room for upward mobility. Opportunity… Cons: Micromanaged environment. Feels like a high school clique. Advice to Senior Management: Show your employees they are appreciated in more ways than parties. Take them out to lunch, don't make them take PTO… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
