Current Employee – been working at The University of Texas Medical Branch
Pros – Research hospitals give opportunities to work with the newest equipment, research findings, and a variety of patient care needs. This keeps us informed and always using the most innovative therapies to improve patient care.
Cons – Scheduling is always an issue, and we always seemed to be either short-staffed or overloaded with treatments. It's frustrating when you can't give timely care to patients who need it, and worse when someone else prioritizes patients who don't need care as much as the ones we must skip.
Advice to Senior Management – Leadership was good, but a bit too much turnover for upper management stability. Sometimes we felt like career moves took priority over patient care needs.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
