Pros

The pros of this company are the benefits that it provides, as well as the time off that they give their workers.

Cons

From my experience this company is very corrupt. The upper level employees tend to hire their own family members (regardless of what their background or degree is), over those that actually deserve the job, or want to work their way up in the company. They do not have a policy in place about hiring relatives, and this is taken advantage of. The moral is very low, and it effects the work. HR does nothing about this. People chew tobacco at their desks. There is nothing done about this behavior. The only way to succeed within this company is if you know someone, not by working hard and being dedicated. The retention rate explains itself. Not only that, but they do not follow the salary guidelines. No matter how long you work here you will not be given higher than a 2% raise.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Something has to be done ASAP in order for this company to progress and for the retention rate to normalize.

    Pros

There is opportunity for advancement and or movement within the company. You aren't limited to just the position you are hired for. The auto department is booming so there's plenty of room there for advancement and employment with that department rapidly growing.

    Cons

This is one of the few companies I've worked for where they are consistently inconsistent. The only certainty about working there right now is you're gonna be managed by an idiot. There are dumb decisions after dumb decisions that make no sense whatsoever, and you're expecting to just sit there and smile as if there's nothing wrong at all. There's a major lack of accountability within the company. There reward for being a good employee is more while the consequences for working poorly is an easier shift and less responsibility. Morale is low because there is no true positive feedback.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

This can and should be a great place to work, but it will never see the light of day as a great environment without proactive management who not only care about their work (not job security) but take pride in giving their best on a day to day basis. Whether you realize it or not, the employees strongly believe the company does NOT care about the little guy.

    Pros

You don't need to deliver and can be paid your bonus. Senior management pleasant on a personal level.

    Cons

No career development. Senior management mostly appear to have weak management & leadership skills and are only in their role due to friendship with the CEO - it's unlikely that they will be able or have the desire to deliver change to take the business forward. Promotions are based on friendship. Dishonesty appears to be tolerated. IT systems awful.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's only worth giving advice if there is a chance that it will understood or acted upon - so none.
