I have been working at The World Bank full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

If you care about mission, its hard to beat working at a place focused on ending world poverty.

    Cons

This is not a great place to develop your career. You should come here with a vision for what you want to do and have a complete toolkit of skills; this is a good place to apply your vision and skills. The bureaucracy is incredible, and most people are highly risk averse.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on hiring young people. Few people come in as JPAs or YPs, most are hired in unstable STC positions where there is no organizational nurturing or support.

    Approves of CEO
